Suicide causes harm to loved ones

One wonders what the person killing themselves is thinking right before they act?  The thing that becomes apparent is that they are not thinking. If they thought it out, thought about how it would impact the ones they love, they would not do it. People who are suicidal are so deeply drowning in their own pain, they can’t think past that pain or that moment in time.

Brad Delp

When Brad Delp, the lead singer of the band BOSTON took his life, the ripple effect was staggering. I had worked closely with someone who had been a member of the band at the time Brad died.  Not only was his family and friends ripped apart, his fans were shattered as well. There was one fan that drove herself and her car off a bridge.  She didn’t want to live in a world without him. He was the lead singer of the band and all the vocals you heard from that first album self titled ‘BOSTON,’ were his vocals.

  1. More Than A Feeling
  2. Peace of Mind
  3. Foreplay-Longtime
  4. Rock and Roll Band
  5. Smokin
  6. Hitch A Ride
  7. Something About You
  8. Let Me Take You Home Tonight
I knew him personally, and he was a gentle soul. His death was a shock to everyone.  In his note he pinned to the front of his shirt he wrote:  “Mr. Brad Delp. J’ai une ame solitaire. I am a lonely soul,”
