The winner of CMA of Texas and Academy of Western Artists awards, as well as a Grammy consideration, performs his Texas Chart hits and new music, including a theme song inspired by Larry’s Country Diner’s own Keith Bilbrey.
“I am so blessed to call these folks friends. Kicking back and telling stories, joking and singing along…it reminds me of my years hanging backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. The cast is truly family and so encouraging. What a great show!” shares Marquez.
The episode airing Thursday evening was made even more special by the presence of Country Music Hall of Fame star Charlie Daniels’ widow, Hazel, who joined in on the fun.

This is the second visit to the diner for Bobby Marquez. The first time was in 2011 when he sang on the show with Janie Fricke.

This television appearance kicks off an exciting 2021 for Bobby Marquez. On March 31st, he will accept the CMA of Texas Award for Americana Song of the Year for his single, “Speak Love.” Bobby will also perform at the event in Lubbock, Texas, sharing the stage with legends Johnny Rodriguez and Tanya Tucker, as well as, actor/singer Dennis Quaid. Marquez then heads south of Nashville to Winchester, Tennessee for a show with one of country music’s all-time greatest duos, The Bellamy Brothers on April 10th. And television and stage performances in Branson, Missouri, are coming up in late April at the Grand Country Music Hall Theatre and The Branson Star Theatre.
