LITTLE RIVER BAND THIS MARCH

Little River Band is poised to have a very busy March, 2023! They are kicking off the month in North  Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at the Alabama Theatre.  Last time they were there the show “SOLD OUT.” It is well on its way to be “SOLD OUT,” again. Little River Band touring 7 states this March

Little River Band garnered huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits in the 70’s and 80’s. . Their worldwide album, CD, and digital downloads amass to more than 350 million. LRB continues to deliver distinctive harmonies and vocal abilities under the direction of 41 year LRB veteran, lead vocalist and bass player Wayne Nelson.  To date, Wayne has contributed his talents on 24 of Little River Band’s albums/CDs. LRB was honorably dubbed “the best signing band in the world.” by Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey.  Little River Band has undergone an evolution or two since its origins as an Australian rock band hungry to make it in America. Fans nostalgic for such tunes as “Reminiscing” or “Lady” can join us to hear the current incarnation for a night of fantastic music, memories and more.

FUN FACTS

LRB was the first band to have Top 10 Hits for 6 consecutive years! Their song “Reminiscing” has garnered over 5 million air plays on American radio, with “Lady” following close behind with over 4 million air plays. In September 2015, the band was awarded Casino Entertainer of the Year at the G2E Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.     7. My wife and I have been together as long as Little River Band has been. We love your music like we love each other.There is no other band we love more. Every time you play in Reno Nv, we are there to enjoy your show. In fact, once you played at the Peppermill Resort Hotel/Casino/Spa in Sept. 1999 ,we were in the front row center with my entire family,4 generations,singing every one of your songs along with you. You greeted us after the show and said that was the first time ever that the entire front row stood and sang along with you. Best memory ever. Nothing compares. Next time you come to Reno, please book a show at the Peppermill,(I work there now),and we can do it again. Front row center,4 generations, and enjoying the show the same .
