Corey falls in the middle of the six children spanning four decades of Allen Frizzell, former Nashville recording artist and younger brother of the Legendary Lefty Frizzell and Country Star, David Frizzell. Corey is an in high demand, award winning, visual artist that has found a niche in the country music world. He’s come full circle to his music roots being named Nashville’s Artist to the Stars for his artistic collaboration with some of music’s biggest names, including Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Emi Sunshine and Jerrod Niemann to name a few.

Joey+Rory Feek and their story touched very close to home for Corey as he has a daughter who is in remission from Leukemia.  This is what he said on his facebook page when sharing the Feek Family Portrait he is currently working on: “I started this portrait about a month ago. Something I felt moved to do while following Joey+Rory’s journey against Cancer. I didn’t finish it. As I worked on it, I couldn’t help but think about my own journey, alongside my ten month old baby Lyric whom was fighting Leukemia. It breaks my heart that Joey didn’t win the battle like my Lyric has. I know that Joey, Rory and their family have touched the hearts of millions as she has mine. I started this portrait about a month ago. Something I felt moved to do while following Joey+Rory’s journey against Cancer. I didn’t finish it.
