As the piano took ever my ears, I noticed that the overall quality of the recording was nice. Today most people use a piano that sounds passable and gives the feeling of the instrument.

However, recordings often manage to sound okay, but here the sound is a great match for the powerful vocals of Miss Freddye. There is a tinge of the sound of an electric piano similar to an early Whitney Houston song.

At the same time I have a feeling that this was not necessarily intended to be a radio edit. Overall it is a strongly arranged musical plate filled with some nice musical sustenance which should completely fill the hearts, stomachs and souls of the intended recipients.

Let’s face it; gospel music is not everyone’s cup of tea. I am not a huge fan of the genre but this is well done and arranged and I respect the work and the feeling that went in to the production to get it done.

IN CONCLUSION

For the intended market audience this song “Something to Believe In” as performed by Miss Freddye, would be amongst my top picks. Enjoy it.
