When the 77 year old Rogers recently announced his retirement, and during that announcement he told the viewers of ‘The Today Show,’ that he was retiring so he could spend time with his twin sons who were already 11 years old.  He had already missed spending time with his older children from previous marriages and he didn’t want to repeat history.

Tulsa World is reporting that Kenny was forced to re-schedule due to his health. If a ticketholder can’t attend the new date, they are being offered a full refund.  Linda Davis is schedule to join Kenny for that show.

Rogers did acknowledge that at his age, being on the road and getting through shows “is becoming more and more physically challenging.”  He says that as he is getting older that it is harder to walk around and he says with a chuckle in his voice, “My mobility is really driving me crazy.”

At the end of Kenny Rogers’s tour, he plans to make one last stop and that will be back at ‘The Today Show,’ to say his goodbyes.  Let’s hope his health improves so he can not only have his last tour but enjoy it as well.

With the music world losing so many iconic superstars in 2016, The Daily Banner would like to send Kenny Rogers plenty of Get Well wishes and sends prayers and hopes that readers that pray will send prayers as well.
