We have to admit in the day of Zoom, interviews and conversations can take place in all different places.  I was in my home office and Craig was in his vehicle when we conducted this interview. Madison Station duo is lead vocalist Lance Horton and guitarist and background vocalist Craig Anderson of Madison, AL.  Before Craig was in Madison Station, he was a member of the very successful band Heartland. Heartland had scored a #1 Hit Single in 2006 with the song “I Loved Her First.”  I Loved Her First has been sung at thousands of wedding since 2006 with Dads singing this song to their baby girls. About Frontman Lance Horton

Lance grew up in Collinwood, TN. He had a conservative Christian upbringing with two loving, hardworking parents. Unusual in today’s world but very refreshing. He has a musical background as his Dad sang in a Southern Gospel Quartet for over 30 years.

Craig Anderson

Craig has an extensive history in the music business.  He is fine with sitting in the back ground on stage or in music videos.  Anderson is from Madison, Alabama and he named the duo Madison Station from a real life place that is special to him.  He was the co-founder of the highly successful band Heartland.  Craig learned some valuable lessons in that band and reflects back on some of them during the interview.  Make sure to click the video link and enjoy the interview which was very conversational.
