Uncommon Man

The song was actually written before the pandemic but it absolutely fits what happened during the Pandemic. This co-write was a thank you to the Dads of Dallas and her co-writer.  They chose to release the song during the pandemic even though it wasn’t originally planned to be released.  After the pandemic hit, it really was a perfect fit for release.  Dallas dedicated it to the front line workers.

Uncommon Man lyrics

Dallas Remington (BMI) + Courtney Bumbacher (ASCAP)

Verse 1

There’s no such thing as 40 hours

No working nine to five

blood sweat and tears

Praying to God help me survive

Through droughts floods

And never ending days

Disaster years

yeah he tries to keep his faith

Chorus

He’s has holes in his jeans

He didn’t buy em that way

When he shakes your hand

You have his word

he’ll take it to the grave

Before he falls asleep at night

He reads the Bible by his bed

And Thanks the lord for an everyday life

Of an uncommon man

Verse 2

He does his best to support

His kids and his wife

Sometime he might miss dinner

But he still tucks them in at night

Church and chores

Are still family affairs

And to him no other life

Can compare

Chorus

Bridge

It might sound like a poor Man’s life

But he’s richer than any millionaire

Chorus

Ghost Town

We went back two years and talked about when the Pandemic first hit and how Nashville felt like a Ghost Town. Dallas walked her dog on empty streets. Songwriter Nights and regular business stopped but the songwriting never stops. Not ever and lots of great songs were created during this down time.

Country Radio Seminar 22

This is her 4th  or 5th CRS. She reminisced about her last CRS which she attended just after getting her wisdom teeth pulled.  She performed when she shouldn’t and ended up with a totally swollen face. That CRS happened right before the Pandemic started closing things down.

One Night Rodeo

Dallas Remington’s Exclusive Interview goes deep inside the song

One Night Rodeo is Dallas’s current single. Does a Cowboy Casanova finally meet his match in this newest Dallas Remington single? It seems like nowadays every girl wants to find herself a cowboy. Dallas Remington is no exception to that, but she has a message for all the cowboys out there. “You might be a cowboy, but I ain’t no One Night Rodeo.”  Some people are just natural country singer songwriters and this girl is absolutely no exception. We could listen to her all day. She is smooth one second and gritty the next.  This song should absolutely be featured on the hit show Yellowstone. It has all the makings of a hit and we will shout that from the roof tops.

In conclusion

Dallas Remington is the total package. She writes, she plays and she sings.  Now that I have found her, I will be following her to the top.  When she gets there I have no doubt that she will still be walking her dog, playing her guitar and writing songs because that is just who Dallas is and is gonna stay.  Thanks for checking out Dallas Remington’s Exclusive Interview goes deep inside the song.  Click below to check out our EXCLUSIVE interview with Dallas.
