Trivia Questions
For 12 days Chris Marion who is the keyboard player and vocalist of Little River Band posted questions. The questions started out easy but got progressively harder. Here is a screenshot of the first post.
Winners of the Contest
Each and every single winner of the contest was sent via the US Post office their winning prizes. The prizes consisted of different merchandise the band has had available through the years.
The Night Owls
The final question which was actually a five part question was quite difficult but that didn’t stop the NIGHT OWLS. By the way, the Nigh Owls are what the fan club members are referred to representing the HIT SONG, “THE NIGHT OWLS,” sung by Wayne Nelson.
That song was released in 1981. Wayne Nelson continues to be the Bass player and lead vocalist of the band. He has certainly achieved longevity in the band. To clarify, in the lifetime history of the band, Wayne has the distinct honor of being in LRB the longest. Nelson celebrates 41 years with the band in 2021.
The Grand Finale

The bands publicist Donna Nolan-Wilson of ITS Promotions informs me that there has been more interaction and activities occurring at the fan club. The band has let the fans pick a favorite song from 3 of their releases since the year 2000.
FAN PICKS
Three songs were picked. “Just You and I,” “Hold On,” and “Forever You-Forever Me.” Consequently, the fans picked a fan favorite from those 3 albums. As a result, one of those songs was just released as a single for Valentine’s Day. That song is “Just You and I.”

It is being reported that the band has a surprise for their fan club and it will be announced soon. Certainly Little River Band is itching to get back out on the road. For instance they have 3 socially distanced shows scheduled at the end of March in Florida.
