How do they do it?  With only 4 daytime soap operas left on the air, two actors keep and maintain double duty.  Who are those two actors and how do they do it?  The actors continue to either go from one soap to the next or play different characters on different soaps. Kurth is on both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.  On General Hospital he portrays Ned Quartermaine. He has been portraying Ned since 1991.  Some of his best moments at Ned was when he married Lois portrayed by Rena Sofer.  Rena is now on the Bold and the Beautiful.

Justin on Days

He plays Justin Kiriakis on Days. Kurth has been doing this for decades.

Kurth has actually been on Days of our Lives longer than General Hospital. He manages to keep these characters separate and the fans believe in both characters.  Wally did a short stint on As The World Turns from 2007-2008.  There Wally had a recurring role as Sam Hutchins.  Most of all, Kurth has two onscreen wives on both soaps and he is currently keeping both of them pretty happy.  Here’s to keeping up the great work Ned/Justin.  We are looking forward to seeing you for many more years.

Can you say wow with a side of fantastic?  This lady can do it all.  She can be a sweet loving sister, mother, wife, and daughter.  Anyone of her characters can turn around and rip your heart out without looking back.  She can also be comical.  Eileen Davidson proves over and over again that she can do it all.  Eileen has been Ashley Abbott on Young and Restless since 1982.  Davidson brought Kristen DiMera and Susan Banks to life on Days of our Lives.  She arrived in Salem in 1993 and Salem was never the same. She also did a short stint as Kristen DiMera from 2007 to 2008.

Eileen is currently pulling triple duty as a reality star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.   Finally she has been playing herself for 4 years on Real Housewives.
