The Daily Banner is happy to report that at this time, this is just a rumor. There has been no confirmation from General Hospital, The Young and Restless or Christian LeBlanc that this is happening.
The rumor is further fueled as the character (Michael) that LeBlanc is playing is battling prostate cancer. Also, General Hospital has put out a casting call for a man in his 50’s.

The Daily Banners Observation is: The casting is for a man in his 50’s to be on recurring status.  LeBlanc is not going to leave his leading man position to go into recurring status.
Further, the fans talk about how General Hospital is stealing Y&R actors but with only 4 soaps left on air, all the soaps are going to see a lot of soap actors circulating.  Also keep in mind that both Genie Francis and Tristan Rogers were from GH and Tristan is still working over at Y&R. The actress that plays Sage was on General Hospital right before she started at Y&R and so was Steve Burton so which soap is actually taking stars from which soap?  Maybe there is some kind of power struggle going on after all.
