Prayers for Mel Tillis and Merle Haggard
Today on her Facebook page, Pam Tillis, the daughter of Mel Tillis asked for prayers for her Dad. She said that he is not getting well as fast as he should. The fact is that Tillis was operated on back on January 8, 2016 so it has been 3 weeks since his surgery. He is still in the hospital and still struggling to heal and get well.
Today, the son of Merle Haggard confirmed that his father has to cancel concerts this weekend because of the return of double pneumonia that he had before Christmas where he had to cancel several concerts.
Prayers are needed for both of these men as it gets harder to heal as you get older and any illness can be serious or fatal.

I grew up listening to Merle with my granddaddy. There is no other country singer that could replace him. I am so looking forward to seeing him on my 54th Birthday on March 14th in Tallahassee,Florida. I will be praying for Merle and hope for a speedy recovery. HE IS THE MAN!!
Mel Tillis and Haggard have been long time favorite. Mel Gillis has a such a sexy voice and Haggard sings songs so many relate to. Love Jesus extend your mercy & healing grace to both these men. By the all might power of your precious blood. Amen
