It’s the little things that Little River Band does that shows they have big hearts. During a meet and greet Nelson inquired if a family had ear plugs for the child.  The family told him they did not. Nelson instructed one of his road crew to go to the bus and get a set of ear plugs to protect the child.  It is the little things that Little River Band does that makes them so very big.  They genuinely care about the music and quality of their show.  The most important thing to this band is their audience.  That was never more apparent to their fans than this past week.

Raising money for Wildlife in Houston

Last week it was announced that Little River Band started an online Fundraiser to raise money for a Wildlife Center in Houston Texas which is housing Harvey the Hurricane Hawk.  Update on Harvey the Hurricane Hawk.  Harvey is actually a young female Hawk.  She has been dubbed Harvey so she will remain Harvey.  She is doing very good after narrowly escaping Hurricane Harvey during the hurricane by dodging the storm in a local cab.  Rescued by a cab driver and then turned over to the TWRC Wildlife Center in Houston, she is expected to make a full recovery.

The Fans notice this act of caring

Fans and concert workers noticed this act of caring and have shared it on Facebook.  That is how The Daily Banner discovered it.  Little River Band gives back often and without fan fare.  This time the fans won’t let it go unnoticed.  The band also cares about the enviroment as illustrated by the release of “Clean The Water.”  This track can be found on their latest release, ‘The Big Box.’
