Days of our Lives weird observations could be things you see and hear every day on Days but either don’t think about it or it annoys the heck out of you.
Days of our Lives brings up quite a few things to think about. Below we are going to talk about some of the things that we notice on the show pretty regularly. Have you ever noticed any of these things?
My Daily Observation is: Lucas’s breathing and hose snorting. Okay, have you noticed that whenever Lucas is on screen, you can not only hear him breathing but you can hear his nose snorting?
There are 2 office sets that are shared between the whole staff. Daniel and Jennifer share the same office set. Abby & Kayla share the same office set.
Why oh why if Daniel is a surgeon does he live in that dumpy apartment?
Speaking of dumpy apartments, Eve and Theresa also share a crappy apartment set even though they are not supposed to live in the same apartment building.

It seems they have stopped playing that terrible humming/singing from Eve during her scenes. That was indeed Kassie DePaive (Eve) herself singing and it was pretty annoying. Who else is glad they stopped playing that?
Why has Caroline’s Pub been reduced to just a booth? Is that telling us something about Caroline’s characters future on the soap?
Where is Paige living now that college is out for the summer and she doesn’t actually have a place to live?

Why do they put so much ice in all of their drinks.
Oh my, I notice these things all the time!! The offices drive me crazy!! No one puts a door right against the wall, that’s insane!! Why don’t they show the main room at the mansion anymore?? Where did Nicole live?? There is always TOO much ice in the glasses that they are drinking from!! Paige is apparently still in her dorm room, go figure!!
I have noticed all these things with the exception of Lucas and his breathing and snorting problem. I’ve also noticed the size reduction of Stefanos sitting room. Any idea as to when Hope will be getting her house back and do you know where Aiden and his son live? Lastly any idea how much longer Aiden will be in town?

I like Kassie’s singing.U sure love to point out all the negatives. Why not try to list some goodv things??
We point out plenty of good things but quite frankly, all these little things kept adding up and the lunch crew wanted to know if other viewers noticed them too. With all the comments, it sure looks like it. By the way, I am a big Kassie fan and even own 2 of her albums but that humming in her scenes was really annoying.
Did you also notice that Club TBD now has an office that is the Kayla/Abby set?!
Paige has mentioned a few times that she’s an RA at the dorm so she lives there during the summer.
I think Eric and Ben share the same apartment set too . . . .although Ben’s Bed is in the living room. Haha

I wonder why Jenn has not updated (even a tiny bit) the Horton house living room. The fabrics on the furniture are quite outdated. I like the nod to sentimentalism by keeping the old furniture but never expressing her own style makes her seem very dull. I also wonder why she has never updated her hairdo. She has a beautiful face and could use a few inches off her hair and maybe some layers to soften her look. She can still carry off the old style (long straight hair parted down the middle) with a few variations but it would be nice to see her adapt with the times and her age. How old is her character anyway? She has got to be in her early to mid forties, right?
On Lucas, I find he reminds me of the Eagle muppet on the Muppet Show. Eyebrows always furrowed and no lips. Did not know that was Kassie doing that awful moaning/singing during her scenes. Getting a little annoyed with Eric’s “tummy ache” expression over this kiss he shared. I’ve often wondered about why Dan doesn’t get a house. What did they ever do with Maggie’s house? I think there are still several youth living in her upstairs rooms.lol. Paige is now living in the bushes by the lake. How does True O’Brien do that with her eyebrows. She makes them into little U’s. And where does Hope and Ciara live? You never see their house set anymore. The question always on my mind? Is ” Cook” a man or a woman? lol
Hope also has the same office as Kayla and maybe Marlena too
Drs wear watches…Daniel never wears a watch. Also, no one seems to have a home. Everyone’s important life issues play out in the Town Square. What happened to Hope’s house? She and Aiden always rendezvous at the Salem Inn. Tawdry?
I also hate that Victor’s house has not been updated in years. Those awful fake flowers and the awful couch. Looks cheap and outdated. Also, the Demira mansion is now that ugly brown room where even the books on the bookshelf are brown. It’s the worse set on the whole show.
I also hate that all of the purses the women carry are empty. Put something in them to at least fill them out.
The picnic at the lake: now there is a tennis court to overlook? Even the garden set in San Francisco looks like the lake and Stefano’s mansion yard except for miniature topiary bushes. If Jen ever remodeled the house let’s hope it doesn’t reflect her wardrobe. So many of the ladies look like they bought their clothes from Ross in the 70’s. Does Serena only wear peacock blue to accentuate her eyes? How is it that Daniel can publicly assault Xander in the hospital and not be brought up on unprofessional behavior much less assault? How many men will Hope attach herself to (Aiden currently, Bo returning and Rafe panting in the wings)?
Yes, I’ve noticed Lucas’s sniffs.
Almost everyone has the same office. I think they have 2 rooms as sets and simply change furniture and decor. They’re all the same (slate blue)for the police station offices, the hospital break room, all the hospital offices, and now the offices at Mad World. The doctor’s office Paige was in in California when her mom told her Shane was sick, was also the same office. You can tell by the placement of the window in the back when they use the left side of the set.
They used Eve’s music in her scenes with Eric this past week. I have always hated her accompaniment.
