Bold and Beautiful parental love and pain really shows on this man’s face when he was ousted from his daughter’s wedding.
This is going to be one controversial article but we felt it was needed as so many people are coming down on Julius. Did he say some things he should not have said when confronted at the wedding. Absolutely!! Did he feel like he was cornered like an animal so he fought back. Absolutely. Should he have been confronted during the wedding ceremony..NOT SO MUCH!! The lunch crew is at war much like the Facebook B&B groups over this whole Maya/Julius thing. Yesterday’s episode inspired a mashed potato food fight today. We have to admit the food fight was fun. The long and the short of it is that we must all have tolerance of each other, no matter your gender, who you chose to love, your race, your religion or your political preferences. Tolerance works both ways and special interest groups need to incorporate tolerance into their policies as well.
Love him or hate him, the actor did a great job on this week on Bold and the Beautiful. The Daily Banner lunch crew is so divided over this story-line. All the parents in the lunch crew feel empathy for this character and his loss and there is loss. This man loss his son and all the hopes and dreams that went with that loss. The truth of the matter is that 30 some odd years ago, a baby was born and this man was told he had a son. He was proud and honored and gave that son his father’s name.
As the years passed, that son never felt comfortable in his own skin which led to an eventual transgender operation. That does not diminish the fact that the man lost a son. It boggles the minds of many of the lunch crew the arguments that this story-line has caused. If there is tolerance for the transgender, there needs to be tolerance and time extended to the people that have to grieve the loss and time needed and given for acceptance and love to grow for the new person that has emerged.
While many commented that there is a time and place for everything, Maya’s father was having what he thought was a private conversation with his wife. His daughter over heard something that was not meant for her ears at that time.
Playing devil’s advocate here and back to a time and place for everything, it was pretty tasteless for Maya to stop her ceremony and confront her father in front of all her guests and then when the guests wanted to leave to give them privacy, she stopped them from leaving. Talk about airing your dirty laundry in public.
Nobody needed to see that or be a part of that family drama. I think that is a good indication of what is to come now that Maya has come full circle and gotten what she started out to get right from that very first day she laid her eyes on Rick. One thing everyone is hoping and agrees upon is that this hopefully marks the end of this story-line. I also think everyone will find out just how much Julius feels and loves in upcoming. The man was not crying for show. Most people in the lunch room agree he couldn’t stop the love from rolling down his cheek.
Half the lunch crew thinks that Julius was wrong and that Maya had every right to confront him but think she should have done it in private.

P.S. Because of this story-line, I actually got booted out of a few groups and unfriended by the owner of those groups who happens to be gay for saying, “Maya’s father lost a son.” How ridiculous is that? Talk about close minded and hypocritical. I am glad the majority of our readers are a lot more progressive and mature than that. I am sure if Bruce Jenner’s parents were alive today, they would feel like they lost their son.

Mother of 3, wanting at least 1 daughter but more importantly to me was that my children were healthy and strong. One of those boy’s who I was told he was never going to be born and abort him now because of his serious health issues but I fought for his life! ?scared to death I was but he is 17 today, thank god he is healthy and happy and Bisexual !Disappointed absolutely not never. If he was transgender I could never be disappointed in a child I prayed for. I think when God blesses you with a child your suppose to be thankful that you have a gift from god no matter what there sex is or isn’t or the one there certain there suppose to be. yes the people who wanted acceptance and tolerance for so long are often now not willing to give it to others. I understand exactly what you are saying and agree totally. It would be very difficult for someone like Julius to accept this…I agree Maya should not have done this….but again I have never liked this character. Before they decided on the transgender thing she was portrayed as conniving and selfish now all that is forgotten.
Donna: I’ve been keeping my mouth shut long enough. I agree with you 100% on Julius. As a Christian I am against this whole Transgender thing. From Bruce Jenner to Myla. I agree with you. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in. She could have talked to him in private instead of public. And I did feel for him though, he did loose a son. And I feel for Bruce Jenner’s kids, they lost a father. This is all just away for us to get away from God. He made Adam then Eve, not Eve and Eve and Adam and ADAM. I don’t care what Sara Gilbert and Neil Patrick Harris say about the babies, there has to be a Man and a Woman involved somehow. How are they going to explain this to their kids when they start asking questions? Where did I come from? HUM? I’d like to be a fly on the wall and listen in on that conversation. Anyway, I support your thinking. Weather anyone else does or not? I do. And God does.

Guess I am close minded, prejudiced, what ever you want to call it. I am sick of the story line about Maya, same sex and all the other. They all need to go back to the closet. It is not right for a store to sell boy, girl, men’s, or women’s clothes. Being straight is not normal in today’s world. Thank you very much but as I see it, the poor white straight folks have no right anymore! You can’t even say how you truly feel because of backlash. It is what it is. I don’t like it but what can a few do about it. We’re out numbered on so many levels. One day soon America will fight with each other because of racism, same sex and bisexual. We are going to act like the third world countries. Hopefully I won’t see it but my great grandchildren will. What a mess. However we all may get burned if they drop a bomb on us. Just speaking my mind. Why can’t we have good clean lines in a story. When my little grandkids are here I don’t even watch either of my daytime soaps.
Julius aka did I fantastic job. I felt sorry for both of them. I believe he lives Maya, but he is from a different era. He will come around if this storyline continues. ??‼️‼️‼️
I’m actually more towards Julius’s viewpoint. Should it have been done in the way it was on either side? No, in fact Julius and Vivienne, shouldn’t have been talking about it in public anywhere. Maybe if they had talked about it in their hotel room or such fine… but not at any restaurants/cafes or parties or whatever. Also While I am more in line with Julius’s point of view. I would not disown any child that did that. I’d pray for them and show them love. I would /never/ accept their choice of a lifestyle but going as far to disown and cut off communication is not the thing to do. Mind you I don’t have children but would not do it as the way Julius is portraying it. I really wish this story line would end and maya/rick “exit stage left” doing this story line is another example of the media and others glorifying the LGBT lifestyle as being “good” when it’s not. it is sin, but we hat the sin, and love the sinner, but don’t glorify the sin either. Can give people all kinds of roles but me myself I’d never write a line, that contained anything sinful. Mind you my soap opera might not last long because of that, but then it might, there’s plenty to do to show without doing all that. Also I think the whole aly plot while a different subject was handled /very/ wrong too. Send her to paris if the contract was up, save the character but never kill them off unless they want to retire or such.
Why is it so fair for Mya to have and opinion and not her father. She choose to change herself into a woman, her father dose not have to accept it!! She was born a man and she still is a man!! Mya has messed up this man family, where is the son that he was so proud of! This situation is humiliating to him, he is hurting and Mya is no pride! Her life will see problems!

Great acting by actor. He gave a true feeling of this issue for alot. You can love your child without accepting what they do. US older generation was raised differently and think differently. And We Have A Right. Each it’s own. And not everyone will agree with r tolerate everything. .So Get Over Yourselves. .If We Don’t Want To Accept this Carp We Don’t Have To. It’s our Right and We also Have Rights. So get over yourselves and get on with the story…

Altho,I love her very much, I mourn the liss,of my male cousin. I still see him as a youngster and see his laughter. I see him in her and it hurts but I am adjusting to his descision.
I am totally TEAM JULIUS! He is the only one beeing honest. Vivienne Avant (Maya Mom) would never be so fine with her “Daughter” is Maya still would be in prison! Nicole only wants fame and Myrona ( i call her that!) is the whole time mean and trashing the Employess and family members, she wants to be Matriarch of! LOL: SHE will never be matriarch material. That place belongs to a heir of STEFANIE FORRESTER, SR! Myrona can be Loganmatriarch one day. As for now she is the son, Julius lost many years ago. I bet, most of the viewers are afraid to write or say something against Raya and special Maya, because of getting banned or deleted on the plattforms and Fan Forums. For a Man of Julius age, it must be hard to watch all this what happen and not beeing able to let go of his opinion cause he was RAISED so! As for Transgenders i am shocked that the LGBT community is so fine with this evil hypocrite Charachter of Maya Avant, who bullied a young Teenager and terrorized Familymembers, who worked their WHOLE LIFE for the familybusiness! and now she got it all! So that is how Transgenders work? Also: if BB is willing to gave the Transgenders their voice: why they did not hired a REAL LIFE TRANSGENDER Actress for BB? Because many viewers would turn off, when this role would made love and making out in the steamroom or on the desk in the office like Raya did. The fact, that no real life transgender voice against this writting of one of them, makes me wonder, if they are good person and carachters in the real world. I also think, making out with a person without telling BEFORE having the ok to made sex, its RAPE! the choise to say NO was taken than. So, i am TEAM JULIUS and i stick to it!
